Larry Hagman Dead at 81

Actor Larry Hagman, famous for his iconic role as JR Ewing on TV’s Dallas, has died.  The 81 year old actor died Friday afternoon in Texas after a complications with a recent battle with cancer.  Dallas returned to the airwaves as a TNT revival this year to positive reviews and strong ratings. Co-stars Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy were at Hagaman’s side when he passed. The family released the following statement:

“Larry was back in his beloved Dallas, re-enacting the iconic role he loved most. Larry’s family and close friends had joined him in Dallas for the Thanksgiving holiday. When he passed, he was surrounded by loved ones. It was a peaceful passing, just as he had wished for. The family requests privacy at this time.”

Sesame Street’s “Elmo” Quit Amid Underage Sex Allegations

Kevin Clash, the 52 year old puppeteer who has been the voice of “Elmo” on the PBS series Sesame Street for 28 years has resigned.  In early November a man stated he had a sexual relationship with Clash when was 16 years old. The man recanted his story, then stated he did so under pressure. Now a second man has come forward to say he too had a sexual relationship with the puppeteer when he was 15, and filed a lawsuit against Clash.  See an interview with Clash from last December below:
