Bravo to Cancel ‘The Real Housewives of DC’?

The rumor going around is that cable net Bravo will cancel the low-rated and poorly received Real Housewives of DC, which premiered last year amid much hoopla surrounding the gate-crashing Salahi duo.  DC began with respectable ratings, but bled viewers as the season progressed.  Bravo debuted three new Housewives franchises last year, with Real Housewives of Miami proving to be a complete bust in the ratings.  Only the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills achieved ratings success.  Bravo has stated there will be no new Housewives franchises in the foreseeable future. Luckily, The Real Housewives of New York City will premiere next week. (And not a minute too soon!)
