As Howard Stern put it, “America got it right!” Kenichi Ebina, the dancer who amazed and delighted millions this year on “AGT”, won it all last night in the season finale. Do you think the right person won?
Tonight is the night! “America’s Got Talent” will crown a brand new winner this evening on NBC. But who will win? Will it be country singer Jimmy Rose? Or magician Collins Key? Does comedian Taylor Williamson have a chance? What about singer Cami Bradley? Or the singing group Forte? Don’t forget about fan favorite Kenichi Ebina. One of them will walk away with the top prize. Who do you think will win “America’s Got Talent”? Better yet, who do you think SHOULD win?
America’s Got Talent creator Simon Cowell has stated that he believes the addition of shock jock Howard Stern will “shake up” the show. More interestingly, Cowell would like to add a fourth judge to the panel to eliminate the “room for error.”
After seeing the epic failure American Idol experienced when they experimented with a four judge panel (remember Ellen?), as well as the lukewarm reaction to X-Factor, which is heavily weighed down by odd-judge-out Nicole Scherzinger, AGT might be better off not trying to reinvent the reality wheel.
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon received two special gifts for their third wedding anniversary on Saturday: the birth of twins. The twins, a boy and a girl, were born at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles shortly after 9am Pacific time. It is the first birth for singer/songwriter/actress Carey, as well as Cannon, the host of NBC’s America’s Got Talent (which returns Tuesday, May 31). The twins’ names have not been released to the public yet.
