Amy Winehouse, 1983-2011

Amy Winehouse was found dead in her home on Saturday.  A brilliant musician who achieved global fame while battling her own demons, she joins the list of other troubled musical greats who died at the exact same age of 27 years old, including Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, and Kurt Cobain.

UPDATE:  The autopsy performed today on Amy Winehouse was inconclusive.  Toxicology reports will be available in two to four weeks.  Meanwhile, Winehouse’s album Back to Black is currently Number One on the iTunes Top Album charts in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland.

Below are some of Amy Winehouse’s biggest hits, including Rehab, You Know I’m Not Good, F-Me Pumps, Tears Dry on Their Own, and Back to Black, as well as the amazing covers of Don’t Go to Strangers and I Heard it Through the Grapevine, performed with Paul Weller.
